Acidophilus Pearls is a food supplement based on probiotics. WHO defines probiotics as non-pathogenic living microorganisms which, when administered in adequate amounts, provide a beneficial effect on the health of the host.

It offers the combination of the two most clinically studied and recognised strains of live active cultures that naturally colonise the gut forming a complex ecosystem known as microbiota or intestinal flora.

The habitual balance of the intestinal flora can be negatively affected by external factors (diet, age, stress...) giving rise to situations such as:
